The Symposium will be held in Sarajevo, Capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Olympic City (the host of the XIV Winter Olympic Games 1984). Sarajevo is also significant center of international political (SEE Stability Pact 1999), economic (International fairs in “Skenderija” and “Zetra”), and cultural events (International Sarajevo Film Festival-SFF, International Theatre Festival-MESS, Sarajevo’s Winter, etc.).
Sarajevo has daily airline connections with almost all European cities and by bus lines too. The international railway connections with Europe are fully functional. The participants of the Symposium will have opportunity to enjoy traditional hospitality of the City, and one of the goals of the Organiser of the Symposium is to contribute to further international and general affirmation of the Sarajevo as European city.
