Submission Guidelines

Instructions for Authors

Papers must be written in English. Full paper length (up to 6 proceedings pages), including figures, are allowed for each paper. Papers should follow the IEEE double-column format (A4 size) for ICAT 2023. Additional two (2) pages can be included for an extra fee.

Authors are expected to submit only their own original works that is currently not under review somewhere else. The conference will verify the originality of manuscripts by comparing them with millions of other articles in databases worldwide. Manuscripts that violate IEEE’s publication principles may be rejected. If the violation is deemed severe, then disciplinary actions may also be taken by IEEE.

Final manuscripts of accepted papers must be submitted via ICAT 2023 Paper Submission System before the deadline. Only PDF files will be accepted.

IEEE maintains strict formatting standards for all manuscripts published in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.

All PDFs to be included in IEEE Xplore® should be validated through PDF eXpress for Xplore compatibility.

First-time users of PDF eXpress should do the following:
Enter the following:

  • 57854X for the Conference ID
  • Your email address
  • A password
  • Continue to enter information as prompted. An online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress: You need to follow the above steps but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

Please note that the authors are required to electronically sign the copyright form in the online submission system after submitting final versions of their paper.
